You are faced with choices every day. Some choices are trivial, like what you eat for breakfast or if you even eat any breakfast at all. But, are they really that trivial?

Even trivial decisions repeated in an extended period of time will have a powerful effect in your life. It is the compound effect. Starting the day with a positive thought instead of with a worry will help you start the day at your best.

If you keep adding trivial decisions that serve you towards your goals and dreams by the end of the day you will go to bed with a feeling of satisfaction and happiness. Imagine this every day of the week, every week of the month… you get the picture.

#2 Powerful effect: your choices affect your habits.

You get what you repeat. If you can not get past a frustration at work, you will most probably become at expert at being frustrated. What we practice we get good at, even more, we become experts.

#3 Powerful effect: not taking certain choices will negatively impact your long term happiness. Sometimes making the right choice for you will take courage, getting out of your comfort zone, overcoming your fears. Sometimes choosing what you know is right for you will be hard in the short run but very rewarding in the long run. Procrastinating has a devastating effect.
